The book provides a fun way to meet hens and learn smart facts about chickens and eggs.

Although this book can be read to children of any age, it is also being read and enjoyed by adults. The reading skill level for a child to read the book is 7-11 years of age.

Most recently, a three-hour book signing held at a garden center raised $970 for the New Bern Garden Club to landscape a historic house.
